A shower of love for Jess and Baby X – North Olmsted Photographer

I was excited for Jessica’s shower for two reasons. First, it was a welcoming of my beatiful friend into the tribe of motherhood and secondly, it was an opportunity to play with my new Nikon D600. You’ll see that I took a lot of images and many still didn’t get posted, I had to be judicious in my choices, you don’t have time to be here all day do you? I loved the theme of the shower, the baby letters (X for Xavier) and capturing details is always a favorite of mine. It was an absolutely perfect January afternoon with loving family, great friends, and the yummiest soup I’ve ever had.

And an added note, happy birthday to Xavier Jeffery – he came 4 weeks early and was born today February 24th!

A Joyous Shower

I’ve known Abby and John for a long time and recently spent time with them on a Sunday afternoon with their closest friends and family. We celebrated the beginning of their journey into parenthood. In November they will be welcoming a little bundle of joy into their lives.

It’s a surprise whether this is a boy or a girl so the shower was themed in green in yellow, with key limes and lemons and a one of a kind bikini baby-belly cake. Let me tell you, this baby now has every little yellow-ducky outfit from size newborn to 9months. Not only that, bebe has a library full of books that were given with love, in place of the usual cards.

A great day to celebrate two people that have so much love to give! Love you Abby and John and congratulations!
