A Joyous Shower
I’ve known Abby and John for a long time and recently spent time with them on a Sunday afternoon with their closest friends and family. We celebrated the beginning of their journey into parenthood. In November they will be welcoming a little bundle of joy into their lives.
It’s a surprise whether this is a boy or a girl so the shower was themed in green in yellow, with key limes and lemons and a one of a kind bikini baby-belly cake. Let me tell you, this baby now has every little yellow-ducky outfit from size newborn to 9months. Not only that, bebe has a library full of books that were given with love, in place of the usual cards.
A great day to celebrate two people that have so much love to give! Love you Abby and John and congratulations!

The neat thing about my friendship with Becky is that we go way back to 5 years old. So now that I’ve photographed her family I want to go digging for that picture of us from our kindergarten days. It was a short notice shoot and it was really simple. This was also a challenge working with multiple lighting sources so the best photos in my opinion are the black and whites. Otherwise there’s different temperatures all over the photo. Any photographers are welcome to give me tips on lighting a living room for a portrait.
