This beautiful woman is an example of the level of commitment a wife has to her husband. Her husband has been overseas for an entire year, not as a soldier but as a paramedic working to make a brighter future for his family. As Tina was here back in the states waiting for her man to come home she and I got together for a modern glamour photoshoot to gift to him as a surprise when he came home. With the help of my talented makeup artist friend, some flattering daylight and a funky velour couch, Tina's pictures turned out to be spectacular. And the reaction of her husband was beyond words!
As women, we should know and feel beautiful every day of our lives. In the times that we live in this can be tough; we're bombarded by images of unattainable "perfection" everyday. Truth is, who we are makes us beautiful and it can easily be captured. You just have to be willing to let it out and trust your photographer that she will work until she's captured it.
I love these portraits, not only because they are a small milestone in my own career and a testiment to where I want to take my business, but also because they brought happiness to every single person involved. Thank you Tina and welcome home Pat!
